Kendall Park Reviews
Kendall Park is a great suburban town. We have good schools here, especially our high school. Many people here work in Philly or NYC, so it is a great location to find jobs. It is also nice to be able to travel for an hour or so and visit such great cities. Princeton is nearby, which is a great place for food. We have to drive practically everywhere, though. Safety has never been a big issue in my experience. There are some robberies, but they do not occur frequently.
It used to be a great place to live. I have been here for 23 years and have witnessed the area completely change. Way too much destruction of forest and open spaces to build huge houses for influx of immigrants. Restaurants and stores that open are all Indian and Asian now. People are not taking much pride in their houses and are letting things fall to disrepair. Tried twice to sell our house but could not get asking price. Heartbreaking to see a place you love completely change in two decades.
It is a safe neighborhood with great places for comfort food (Wawa, Dunkin' Donuts, QuickChek). Veterans park is also a great place where friends can hang out and families can spend quality time together. There are numerous friendly communities with people who have very different backgrounds.
