I just moved here and the community atmosphere that has been created by Keizer is amazing! While the nearest schools may not have the highest income, they do their best to prepare students in a specialty that will leave them with successful lives.

It is a very clean residential town with a strong presence of professional organizations like Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce. Good access to schools, businesses, parks, and a wide variety of services. Definitely a family town with a wide variety of ages. Very closely connected with Salem, as many people work there. Ease of access to Salem's services and surrounding cities with a good mix of suburban, city, and country-style life.
Although I have never had the chance to live anywhere else, I am so thankful for the opportunity of growing up in Keizer, Oregon for the past 17 years. Just like all towns, it is filled with the good and the bad. I live in the type of neighborhood where I would feel safe enough to walk alone at night however there are parts where I would not want to be seen alone. I live close to a public park which is always breathtaking and clean. Keizer is filled with so much diversity and life. Throughout the year we have seasonal parades, Christmas tree/house lighting, and little carnivals. I've attended a public school for my high school education and every teacher I've encountered with has been so loving and passionate about their job. Overall, I feel as if the workload could be more intense, but every student learns differently. Overall, Keizer is such close knit neighboring city that I hope everyone can visit someday.
