I love Keansburg! We moved here 4 years ago. Lots of community activities, the people are kind and supportive, beautiful town, beach, boardwalk. I am living my best life here in Keansburg.
I have been living in Keansburg my whole life so far and I can say this town has many good and bad things. I have seen this town on a positive end and also a negative end. Growing up here was nice for me because I did have family that lived in town so I was always busy. The school systems are not the greatest and I hope that the younger kids get a greater education that I did. I will always have love for this town but I really hope that it takes a huge change for the better soon.
My rating is based on three points:
1) I lived there a long time ago, but never had any problems; the neighbors were kind and welcoming to my husband and me.
2) The distance to the closest ocean beach was only about 15 or so minutes away. I used to take my 1-year-old son to Sea Bright or Seven Presidents' Park in Long Branch.
3. Judging from the current rental prices of houses in Keansburg, the town obviously has something people want. $2500/month seems to be the average rent for a small, 3 br/1 bath bungalow or cape in Keansburg.
