Kalispell Montana is a beautiful wonderful place! The views are extraordinary, full of mountains rivers lakes and valleys. The people here are friendly and willing to help Neighbors and those sometimes they don't even know. There are many things to do here from snow skiing and snowboarding in the winter time comma to water skiing and wakeboarding in the summer. There's fishing hiking camping and just about any other outdoor sport you could think of. It is one of the most beautiful places in America and not only that but it is also like taking a step back in time. Although Kalispell has grown in the past few years we are still not up to date as some people would say in areas of technology and infrastructure. But it is a wonderful place to live and a beautiful place to explore.

Depressing. Especially in the winter time due to the overcast cloudy weather and unfriendly people who live here. It is April 5th and it is snowing and it's 30 degrees. The summers and short and beautiful for the most part until the wildfires ruin the entire summer experience. The town is filled with tourists and visitors of GNP. Close minded conservative local people and unfriendly transplants inhabit this depressing town. There are rude employees in stores who never seem to smile and who deliver perhaps the worst customer service experience in the United States. Absolutely no culture other than hunting, fishing, casinos, drug and alcohol drinking. Nobody would live in this town if it wasn't so close to GNP, nature, lakes and mountains. I worked here as a healthcare professional and was able to interact with many people from the community.
Wonderful area, nice people who are extremely friendly, lots of activities to do, great shopping. Flathead Valley Community College is a great college to attend for either Business, Early Childhood Education, Accounting, and a whole lot of other wonderful degrees and classes. There are quite a few selections of banks, and the library there is absolutely wonderful.
Also they have excellent, very reliable, and extremely accessible bus transportation. The bus is called Eagle Transit and has many areas to stop.
