Kalispell is a very beautiful little town that is growing as quickly as I did growing up here. The town has a wonderful scenic view of the mountains surrounding the valley, an old-timey feel left over from a hundred years of history, and above all else: Welcoming townsfolk eager to befriend you. Kalispell is the best place for an outdoors person, with endless activities and places to add to your to-do list. Although, all things come at a price; With the town growing so quickly, our city limits have continued to expand outward. Unfortunately, what that means for our farmers, they're losing land and we, the citizens, are losing farm-fresh resources. I would love to see the town remove the law for our buildings to be under 3 stories to give our townscape a chance to grow upwards, rather than outwards.

Kalispell Montana is a beautiful wonderful place! The views are extraordinary, full of mountains rivers lakes and valleys. The people here are friendly and willing to help Neighbors and those sometimes they don't even know. There are many things to do here from snow skiing and snowboarding in the winter time comma to water skiing and wakeboarding in the summer. There's fishing hiking camping and just about any other outdoor sport you could think of. It is one of the most beautiful places in America and not only that but it is also like taking a step back in time. Although Kalispell has grown in the past few years we are still not up to date as some people would say in areas of technology and infrastructure. But it is a wonderful place to live and a beautiful place to explore.
I really like Kalispell. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, so moving to Kalispell was a culture shock. There are two ski resorts in Kalispell: Big Mountain and Blacktail Mountain. The schools are fairly decent but the Flathead Community College is a great addition to the valley. I have been able to take classes while still in high school and obtain college credit before entering undergraduate school. Kalispell is fairly small population wise but there are plenty of new commodities. There is everything from Chic Fil A, REI, and recently Panera. There is no shortage of stuff to do with the ski resorts and the plethora of lakes.
