I like the small-town feel and the views can be pretty. I love that we still have lots of horse properties.. However, there is so much homelessness. The homeless used to just stay in the riverbed but there are more and more popping up in neighborhoods and everywhere. Stealing and leaving hoards of trash. Lots of huge abandoned buildings of businesses that couldn't make it in the community and homeless taking up residency in their place. Trash all over the streets all over the town. Potholes on nearly every street. Schools are decent. Lots of car thefts, break ins, and stolen catalytic converters. Every day lately there is a new murder. Hard to find housing at ANY price. I'd leave if I could.

The commute time to LA is usually only 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Jurupa Valley is a very diverse community with people of all color, ethnicities, and religions. There is a large homeless population in some areas of Jurupa Valley, specifically by the Santa Ana river bed, but overall Jurupa Valley is a safe family-friendly neighborhood that is appealing to many suburban-seeking families.
Coming from Fontana, Jurupa Valley provides much more to my family and others. It provided a closer location to our school, connected me to a job and more than ever has allowed my family to bond. Each weekend, we walk to the Starbucks near our house and get to spend quality time together. Further, Jurupa Valley is a peaceful location that simply transcends peace in all areas.
