There is nothing I would change. I currently live here and am enjoying it so far. Everything is in close proximity and there is a lot of shopping and amenities nearby.
I have lived here in Joliet for 80 years. I have worked here and know almost everybody who lives here. Some parts are bad and then there are the good parts. They also have great night life places to go.
I love Joliet because of the diversity it has. There are different types of restaurants, stores, etc. The people are also very nice. I enjoy living here. I have never run into any problems, I have resided here for 18 years now.
Love living here. I moved from downers grove And find the people in Joliet to be much easier to get to know. It had a small city feel compared to suburban
I grew up in Joliet, IL and I can't wait to start a family here some day! I really enjoy the unique food, the amazing architecture of the homes, and the public school system! I enjoy living a very diverse neighborhood and I have never felt unsafe in my own home.
I completely enjoy the area I am living in. This is an environment and area I'd like to raise m children and have them experienced the same things I did.
Joliet is a very historic city with lots of historic landmarks. With Joliet being a suburb of Chicago a lot of historical events take place in the city.
I have grown up here (on the border of Joliet and Plainfield) for 19 years and I have never had a truly bad experience.
I like how quiet Joliet is and the diversity. I appreciate the amount of accessible stores. My public school experience has been great and each school had a great environment. The nightlife is not busy. It is very calm and there are not many places to go and have tons of fun. I do not mind that however. The safety is great as well and the properties are affordable. The traffic is not bad even in what is considered rush hour.
Joliet is my home city, it is very diverse and is small enough to have a "home" feeling, but large enough to have several jobs. The only thing I would change about the city is its housing costs. The city is in a housing crisis and many houses are going into foreclosure.
What i like about Joliet is that it quiet, so that means there is no crime or evil actions happen in this area.
I really like Joliet, its safe and a nice place to live. id like to see more activities to do outside, but otherwise a nice area.
I’ve been living in Joliet for 16 years. I love the community and access to shopping. It’s not a town that everyone knows your busisness, but you do make good friends.
Joliet is nothing like others describe it or make it seem to be. Joliet is extremely diverse and can be a very beautiful and nice place. Some Joliet citizens might make Joliet look back but people always look at the negatives of this town and need to look at the positives. Joliet is not bad at all and I am proud to live here.
The people here at Joliet are very friendly and polite. But like any other place their are always some people who are not so nice. There are many restaurants, parks, hotels and schools for you and your kids. We have a great first responders who always try to make sure that everyone here at Joliet is always safe and attended when they need help.
I used to live on the outskirts of joliet where it is closer to Plainfield. Safe area, pretty rural, and quiet neighborhood.
I love how the town keeps everyone together. I have lived here my whole life and it has been great. I love how they are improving the parks around the area and how they are trying to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
