Working in Johnstown
Johnstown is a wonderful semi-rural community. It's surrounded by agricultural land, but it has plenty of infrastructure between itself and nearby town, Milliken, that you'd never have to leave, but also is close enough to larger cities like Loveland, Longmont, and Fort Collins that if necessary, it wouldn't be a hassle to go there. The town is growing with newer housing along the outskirts, and quaint, older housing in downtown with plenty of local businesses and small establishments of mainstream chain businesses. It's also been rated as one of the safest places to live in the country. There aren't many jobs within the town itself, and most residents work in nearby cities, including myself. Other than that, you'd never need to leave.
Johnstown is a family friendly small town 30 miles from most big cities. The views are spectacular close to skiing, hiking, boating and any other outdoor activity your family enjoys. Weather is spectacular with sunshine on most days. Voted one of the safest cities in Colorado, you can be sure that you will feel safe when visiting. Because of its location and affordable living, a lot of people are moving to Johnstown and commute. This little community is the perfect place to raise a family, make friends and create a lifetime of memories.
I live near Johnstown and attend Roosevelt High School in Johnstown. It is a wonderful town that offers a wide array of consumer items. There are a lot of small businesses in Johnstown which is absolutely wonderful. This town is very tight knit and everybody knows everybody. No one is a stranger. This town has helped support my family's business, and when we moved here we hadn't expected the public to support us much as the actually did. It was amazing. Johnstown is also very diverse, there are all kinds of people here. Most of Johnstown's growth is attributed to Agriculture and its so pretty to see all of the farm fields that surround and support this town. I love this little town that's become my home.
