Jerome is the ideal balance between a city and a town. With lots of great places to eat and stores to shop at, it makes for a fun day out. Some of the sidewalks and roads are rough and uneven but an observant walker will be able to find these and be okay. The streets are safe, and the schools are located in excellent places, with the exception of Heritage Academy, which I do not recommend sending your children to for their sub-optimal courses.

Jerome is a middle sized small town. People actually come to Jerome and we have restaurants, so it isn't in the middle of nowhere. Jerome is a growing city and I wish it had more sit in restaurants. There are lots of outdoor things to do!
I love that Jerome is a small town, everyone knows everyone! If you need help your neighbors are there to help which has been great with my husband in the Idaho State Police Academy. The one thing I would change about Jerome is that there needs to be more to do, so family can enjoy the outdoors, shopping or a bite to eat at a local restaurant.
