The suburbs of Jenks is a charming community right outside of Tulsa that is very family friendly and a great place to call home. The public schools are among the best, allowing students to challenge themselves and engage in classes they are interested in. It is a fast growing town with new stores and fast food restaurants popping up quickly. The downtown area is a strip of antique shops with neat treasures and other stores with incredible finds. They even hold a few events in this area from time to time, such as car shows or events affiliated with Jenks High School. However, because it is such a small community, finding a job within this area can be difficult, and the construction being done near the Creek Turnpike has been a hassle the past couple months. What I would recommend in order to make the town even better is to hold more events on Main Street and continue to add stores and restaurants for the civilians.

Jenks is a beautiful city, very clean. Cost of living is a little high, but the schools are great. They town is building up with a neighborhood walmart, and a new Sonic drive in downtown. Love the antique shops on main street.
The police are everywhere at Jenks, because we do have our own police station. I do see them a lot, but whenever something drastic happens, like a car wreck, they seem to come very slowly. I am unsure of crime here, but there is abundance of crime in Tulsa, which is unsettling, but I at least feel safer in Jenks. I did experience a crime when I was younger and lived in Tulsa. Someone tried to break into my house in my bedroom, but luckily we had an alarm system, which saved my life.
