The suburbs of Jenks is a charming community right outside of Tulsa that is very family friendly and a great place to call home. The public schools are among the best, allowing students to challenge themselves and engage in classes they are interested in. It is a fast growing town with new stores and fast food restaurants popping up quickly. The downtown area is a strip of antique shops with neat treasures and other stores with incredible finds. They even hold a few events in this area from time to time, such as car shows or events affiliated with Jenks High School. However, because it is such a small community, finding a job within this area can be difficult, and the construction being done near the Creek Turnpike has been a hassle the past couple months. What I would recommend in order to make the town even better is to hold more events on Main Street and continue to add stores and restaurants for the civilians.

Jenks is a community just south of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Like most Oklahomans, the Jenks Trojans are passionate about football and have won the state championship several times. I transferred to Jenks from Texas when I was in the 9th grade. I would recommend the town to anyone looking for a smaller community to live in. Tulsa, is a 10 minute trip up the interstate for anything that you might want.
Jenks has great schools and is a safe community. All schools are on large campuses. The high school renovates and adds building every year. The high school has a math and science center with a planetarium . The aquatic center has an olympic size pool with an indoor filtration system that provides clean air with no chlorine smell.
