I have been living in Jenks for more than ten years now. It is a white majority. The only reason I lived here was because of family. A significant population of Burmese/Zomi here kept me here. But it's still pretty small in comparison to the total population. I went to Jenks Public Schools the whole time I lived here, and I would rate it pretty average overall. Their inclusivity isn't outstanding, but they offer many academic opportunities, which I am grateful for. I would say it is pretty safe in terms of crimes and theft. I have never experienced anything that put me in danger. It is affordable to live in. There is an adequate job opportunity that I am yet to experience, but there are many offers available. The commute time is good. The main thing is traffic during rush hour, which is pretty normal. But it goes by pretty quickly.
I really like living in Jenks! It has many great aspects. One aspect is safety. Crime rates are very low here and I always feel very safe. Another aspect is recreational activities. There are many things to do at Jenks. It is filled with stores to shop at and places to eat. Jenks also has many gyms, sports centers, and parks. Another aspect is education. Jenks has great schools and they offer a lot of different opportunities and classes. Jenks is known to have fantastic sports programs as well. All of the schools in Jenks are also very well equipped. The Jenks High School has their own pool and planetarium. Jenks Public Schools just built a new elementary school as well. One last aspect is cleanliness. There is virtually no air pollution and the roads are easy to travel on. All in all, Jenks is a great place to live!
I would recommend living in Jenks to anyone. The housing is wonderful and has many options to choose from. The Jenks school district is fantastic. This specific school district prepares students academically and socially so much better than other school in the U.S. The living environment is cozy, calm, safe and affordable. Jenks is small enough to feel like a small town but has big town amenities. Tulsa is just right down the road with everything one could need. I would highly recommend living in this area.
