Jena is a very small, friendly town. All of the citizens are welcoming. One of the things I like about this small town is how when things happen, the town comes together as one. Each citizen will do anything to help each other out. Throughout the year, Jena holds many different events which allow citizens to see one another, and interact. Lastly, one things I truly love about Jena is the support for small businesses. Multiple times a year, Jena will hold nights where the town businesses stay open late and everyone goes out to shop with great discounts and food.

Jena really is a great place to call home! I attended and graduated from Jena High School. Everyone here is so friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. Jena is a town you can feel comfortable raising a family in because the small town life is safe and you always know everyone.
I would like to see more inclusivity and open-mindedness. I wish for more healthy food places to eat instead of the standard fast food. It is nice to know everyone and be able to get to places easily, but there is not much to do here besides grocery shop and maybe go to the park. I wish for a better pound or perhaps building an animal shelter, so the strays can have a place to stay. I also would like there to be more job opportunities.
