Jefferson City Reviews
Nice quaint small city. Good place to raise children or retire. I have lived here off and on for about 10 years, so I am very familiar with this city and it is home. The people are friendly there are good places to eat and surrounding cities provide great attractions for out of towners and locals. The school system is great! I graduated from Jefferson City High School. The teachers there encouraged me to pursue a college degree. Thank you Jefferson City!
Jefferson City is a beautiful place to reside in after retirement. It has an amazing downtown, and many events for adults to do, especially in the summer. Jefferson City has a constant family atmosphere, and is a good place to raise your child. The only thing that Jefferson City doesn't have, is entertainment for teenagers and young adults. The only 3 locates teens have to go is; the movies, skating, or downtown. While Jefferson City is a great place for those who are family-orientated, it has no places or buildings that have newer entertainment.
When I moved here 4 years ago, I was surprised at how small Jefferson City was. I was expecting this huge city. It's small comparatively. In May of last year, a tornado came through Jefferson City, causing major damage. the community as a whole rallied together to help each other. The sense of community and togetherness was amazing. It was then that I realized I had found my home. The traffic in Jeff is a bit much, but that is because of all the government agencies which provide employment to so many people.
