- Town in Florida

It’s a very small town so there’s not a lot to do or a lot of places to shop but there is a lot of farming and nature
I have had the wonderful opportunity of growing up in the small farming town of Jay Florida. Jay is truly one of those towns where everyone knows everyone and you can always find a lending hand to help in times of hardship. With the town being so small, there is really no nightlife, but the larger city of Pensacola is just a short drive away.
Jay is a small country town. Don't go too fast you might just miss it. We have everything that we need, even a John Deere tractor dealership. Don't be surprised to see a big green tractor going down the road. In Jay, everyone is friendly and most people call you by your name. We have many cotton and peanut farms within the area.
The racism is better hidden then 20 years ago but still very much there. Generational welfare abounds. School is a playground for bullies most of which are from the "best" families.
Racist inbred environment. Crime stats 52% higher than towns with 10x the population. School bullying out of control. Drug arrests daily activity. 10% of population on National Sex Offender list. No local employment opportunities. In last few years murder and other violent crime rate rising.
I love living in a small town. There are great schools, and even better people. Everyone looks out for their neighbors, and everyone takes care of each other in times of need. We have several small businesses that contribute to the community.
