Janesville is a very open and wonderful community. I moved here as a 6th grader and loved it immediately! The people are very welcoming and kind. The streets are clean, and the city provides many different activities in which are available to the public. These activities bring the community together and I believe that is super important.
Review Janesville
Janesville has been my home for now than 4 years now . There are many great experiences that have been collected in the parks and paths in this city . It's a quiet homey feeling on my street and I love the idea that I can wave at most everyone and get a wave back.
The sunsets are amazing and the skies can be so breathtaking with a wide array of colors and cumulus patterns. On a path not far from me I can enjoy the plethora of wildlife that can amaze me . Beautiful hawks have made their home there , geese are always visiting, beautiful butterflies swarm at times .
I would like to see more health food stores and restaurants in Janesville . Sometimes I would like a healthy meal that can be ordered relatively quickly on the east side of town. I would also like to be more connected to the philanthropic people around me so we can be a team in helping Janesville become a robust and joyful place to live !
Here are some of the good things about Janesville, WI. First, they have pretty much what you need in life from a Grocery/ Hardware store, restaurants, etc. It has a lot of variety for being a 63,000 population. Another thing positive about Janesville is that they offer a lot of parks within or near city limits. Excellent place to start for the active family. Majority of the people living in the city of Janesville are really nice people and crime rates are usually low compared to others.

Here are some negatives about Janesville, WI. First, the city has become this "forgotten" city since the GM Plant closed in 2008. Another disadvantage is the local business. If your the " buy local" type of person, you might want to skip this city as an option. A lot of chain restaurants make up Janesville.

If their was one thing to change for the city is to bring the local business to the area. I would like to live in this city but many people leave Janesville because their is not anything in the city that has their career.
