Janesville is a friendly family city with good schools. It's a safe place to raise a family. Currently, the city is working hard on revitalizing it's downtown in an effort to appeal to more white collar professionals. Great shops and a river walk are being implemented along with a festival square!
Review Janesville
Janesville is a very open and wonderful community. I moved here as a 6th grader and loved it immediately! The people are very welcoming and kind. The streets are clean, and the city provides many different activities in which are available to the public. These activities bring the community together and I believe that is super important.
Was a decent place to grow up about a decade ago. Has lots of enjoyable outdoor activities, after all it is the city of parks. Fishing, hiking, and biking were great hobbies. The job market has declined sharply since the closing of the GM plant, but the housing market became more affordable as a result. Many people live here because of the affordable housing and work 30-45 minutes away.
