Jamestown is my home, so of course i see it through rose tinted glasses. There’s a ton of great restaurants and shops downtown. There’s some less than nice areas but in general its a great city! The national comedy club is a great bit of fun.

Jamestown is an excellent small city in western New York. Chautauqua Lake provides ample opportunities for recreation on and around the waters. Jamestown's cultural heritage through Lucille Ball, Rodger Tory Peterson, and Robert H. Jackson enrich the community with theaters, museums, and nature reserves. With the recent Riverwalk projects, visitors and residents have more access than ever to experience the beauty of local nature. The opening of the National Comedy Center is just the most recent venture to modernize and invite the world into the wonderful community in Jamestown and Chautauqua County. Jamestown is well worth visit.
Jamestown has a very good opportunity to become one of the best cities in the area. They built the Comedy center which attracts a ton of people, but the businesses that were built in this town are going away. The hometown businesses are one of the best parts of Jamestown. Jamestown also needs more job opportunities and needs new things to do.
