I have lived in Jackson, located in Breathitt County, KY all of my life. Honestly it has never changed. Actually it has gotten worse thanks to the lack of jobs and the ever rising drug problems. There is no financial gain by living here. The only reason I stay is because of my family and roots. I hope to someday change my life here by completing my degree and obtaining a career that will help others and myself for the rest of my life.

Jackson is a wonderful place to live. I would like to see more job opportunities, and more activities for our youth.
Jackson is a decent town, but could use more jobs. The Poverty rate is extremely low, and there is not much to do in the town. The parks are nice and the town itself is very family friendly.
