Working in Jacksboro
Jacksboro is a small, mountain town that has a close knit community base. My favorite thing about living here is that it is perfectly nestled in the valley between the Appalachian and Smoky Mountains.
Small town, few opportunities, long commute everywhere. On the plus side, it is a safe place from my experience. I have heard the schools are terrible, and the ratings for this typically reflect poor schools. We have decided to homeschool our children. There is no nightlife here.
I really enjoy the lake, mountains, and the different country wild life. This adds to the comfort of this area. However, it would benefit from more job opportunities.
