Charlottesville has tons of restaurants and great nightlife. The bars on the "corner" are great, but mainly filled with young people from the University of Virginia. There are great local restaurants downtown.

Charlottesville is growing rapidly, developing on the western and eastern parts of the city. New businesses are growing and more and more well paying jobs are available. Most people work for the University of Virginia.
Yes I can get everything I need in the area. Charlottesville has great restaurants such as Mono Loco, The Whiskey Jar, Citizen Burger, and it has great retail shops such as J. Crew, Vineyard Vines, Banana Republic, and also it has great people and hospitality.
