There are some areas where the homes are very well kept. A lot of places downtown are required to keep their sidewalks clean so overall, the tidiness of the sidewalks is nice. The roads on the other hand, have huge potholes that are damaging to vehicles. Car burglary was a large concern a couple of years ago but has since seemed to be at a minimum.

It seems that the crime rate is going up and the cost of living is becoming unbearable. Most jobs pay less than the living wage for the area. Most individuals in this area are either very wealthy or on welfare without jobs. The middle class is suffering and it seems to becoming more difficult.
This area is notorious for being known as "slumlord central" due to the number of college students. My landlord is always attentive and monitors my household maintenance.
