Itasca is a very lovely little town. It's extremely safe and the schools here are wonderful. It has a train station so commutes to Chicago and other towns are pretty easy. There's plenty of local businesses and restaurants too. The people here are lively, friendly, and welcoming. It's full of fun activities for everyone! It's really a great place to live.
I've lived in Itasca since I was born (23 years), gone through the school system, and lived in the neighborhood. It's the perfect town for new families or older people. Highly recommend to everyone to at least look in the area.
Itasca is very near and dear to my heart. I grew up in Itasca and I’m so glad I did. Itasca is the perfect place to start a family and raise kids. It’s clean, safe, has excellent schools and lots of different activities throughout the year. It’s close to major expressways so it’s easy to get to wherever you need to go. I can’t say enough good things about this town.
Roads need improvement, other than that, Itasca has a good library (even if it's small), and trains are very close by.
THe best town to live high recommend great town to raise a family great school very clean town love love itasca
I've lived here all my life, I don't really have anything bad to say about it. It's a great little town it has everything you need right here or right next door. It's close to everything and hosts fun events. The people are friendly, the schools are decent, what more could you want?
I truly value my experiences growing up living in Itasca. Albeit small, the town offers a variety of restaurants, parks, and local businesses that are, for the most part, very enjoyable.
Itasca is a very nice community. The citizens are always willing to help. It's also very safe. The community has great schools. A problem in this community is the lack of diversity.
Aesthetically pleasing. No Traffic. Great safe neighborhoods. Looks like where they shot Halloween when Michael Myers is stalking his victims.
I have lived in Itasca for about 18 years. Overall Itasca is a safe family friendly town. There is a mix of public and private schools available. There is a Starbucks in the center of town which is a popular spot. During the summer there are events such as fests and concerts in the park.
Itasca has been my home for the past 10 years, and I love living here. As a person who always has my head in a book, the library was one of the public places I spent a lot of time in and it is really nice.
My family and I moved to Itasca about 18 years ago and we have loved it ever since. Itasca, IL is a great community for all people. Kids on every block, all choices of housing to live in, and many schools and jobs in the area to attend. Every time I come home from college for the weekend or for a break I always get the warm feeling of being back. Growing up here provided me with opportunities left and right and if I could go back and change anything about growing up here, I wouldn't. I love it here.
The reason I moved to Itasca because it is a very safe neighborhood with high rake of public schools. people are very friendly and helpful.
Housing ranges from extravagant to small and average. It is a very small town so there are not a lot of different areas. Much of the town consists of homes that are refinished and remodeled or knocked down and rebuilt. From what I hear the housing is a bit expensive for what you get because the grade schools have a good reputation.
Most people that grow up in Itasca tend to stay in Itasca or move back at some point. We have a reputation for not being able to "cut the cord" on our community. My mother has grown up in this town and I am growing up with many of her childhood friends children. It is fun and there is always someone looking out for us.
It's a very close community that was rated one of the safest in the US to live in very low crime rate and the police are always there when you need them and constantly patrol the town to ensure the residents' safety.
Very safe and friendly community with excellent school system I would love to live and possibly teach as close to here as possible.
