Indianola is a great place to live. It has a close community. People wave when passing by. There is a town clubhouse in which many events take place. Its close to the beach. And the dock is a major attraction. The Indianola Country Store is like going back in time. Wooden floors, lunch on site, good friendly people.
It is a small beach town filled with an ecclectic mix of people . Great people and great fun. The tide, on the beach, goes out about a quarter mile. Great for tide pools. There is a dock good for fishing for salmon and dogfish and jumping off of at high tide. At the end of the dock is a shelf into the puget sound for boats to drive by and places for dropping crab pots. There is a country store that sells local wares, organic produce, sandwiches, ice cream and soups. Many community events including movie night, a ping pong night, and stunt night. We have indianola Days once a year with a pet parade, salmon dinner and sand castle building contest. There is so much more. It is really one of the greatest places on earth.
Beautiful environment, temperate weather, lots to do.
