I have lived directly in Indian Trail for 4 years, and near the area for my whole life. I think that Indian Trail, especially the Sun Valley area, has become much more family-friendly and diverse. There are many restaurants and areas to spend time with friends and family. There are many parks that are accessible to all and allow children to play outside. Areas for community sports are available for children as well. I would like to see more shops or more indoor activities that would be more geared towards teenagers, as many places are restaurants or fast food.

Love Indian Trail! Overall fantastic community to live in!
Traffic can be heavy at times, however that is everywhere in Charlotte.
Indian Trail has a fantastic small town feel, especially being so close to a major city such as Charlotte!
Tons of amenities for children, wonderful parks and recreation. A overall wonderful place to live and raise children!
Living situations are good with affordable housing and services. Additionally, there are great schools around and the community is generally friendly. However, traffic has become an issue over the past couple years and commute time to school or work has steadily increased.
