I have lived directly in Indian Trail for 4 years, and near the area for my whole life. I think that Indian Trail, especially the Sun Valley area, has become much more family-friendly and diverse. There are many restaurants and areas to spend time with friends and family. There are many parks that are accessible to all and allow children to play outside. Areas for community sports are available for children as well. I would like to see more shops or more indoor activities that would be more geared towards teenagers, as many places are restaurants or fast food.

Love Indian Trail! Overall fantastic community to live in!
Traffic can be heavy at times, however that is everywhere in Charlotte.
Indian Trail has a fantastic small town feel, especially being so close to a major city such as Charlotte!
Tons of amenities for children, wonderful parks and recreation. A overall wonderful place to live and raise children!
Indian Trail is a quiet and peaceful little town that's a great place for anyone searching for affordable, peaceful living. Throughout the area, there are many quiet communities, many ideal for those looking for a large family home. Within the area you have a variety of things that are in close proximity. Indian Trail has multiple super markets, schools, ethnic restaurants, and a movie theater, all within a 5 mile radius. The best part is that there is no night life to worry about in town. For those who do enjoy that lifestyle, Charlotte is not very far from the town allowing those who enjoy the night scene to fulfill their energetic urge. Overall, the area itself is such a beautiful place with many qualities that gives it a special charm to it. I strongly recommend those who are looking for a nice town to start a family at to check out Indian Trail, allowing the town to show all that it offers.
