We love Indian trail! We have lived in Matthews prior to relocating. Indian trail is growing and housing values are increasing. Our children go to their primary/elementary school and we love it. No night life in the immediate area but if you drive about 15 minutes to Matthews or 35-40 minutes to uptown Charlotte, you’ll find plenty to do. Perfect for our family of 6.
I love Indian Trail! It is a very small town so there is not much to do but you can always find something!
There are places to go to such as Kates Skating Rink, many parks, Xtreme Ice, trampoline parks, and even just walk around the Charlotte area.
You have local ice cream shops such as The Bridge Creamery ( and great restaurant, ) Brusters Real Icecream, Snoball Cabin, Jeremiahs Italian Ice, etc.
Going to the Matthews area is always a choice of mine because it has shops such as Michaels, Five Below, Target, 2nd and Charles, etc.
Being a small town people are very friendly with one another, it is common to run into people you are familiar with.
The education system is pretty good. I attend Porter Ridge High School and it is a good school in my opinion.
Though, it can be kind of boring, Finding something to do is not always the easiest. Typically I just go on long drives with my friends or walk around stores when we do not need to buy anything. It is certainly not the beach though.
