We've only lived in our neighborhood since the end of last July, but we have loved our time here. We have kind and friendly neighbors, and I love the rural feel while still having a grocery store within walking distance of my house! The library seems to have a lot of great programs for kids. I haven't been able to take advantage of them with my children yet because of my school schedule, but I hope to soon. My number one complaint about Hyrum is that, for most people, it is illegal to have backyard chickens. And that's something I personally was looking forward to.

I personally believe that Hyrum has a family friendly atmosphere all around. From one town to the next. I have lived her nearly my entire life and I have enjoyed every second of it. You get the opportunity to experience all of the different seasons. Sometimes in the same exact day!! Besides that Hyrum is the place to raise a family, a dog/pet, attend school, etc. Everyone within the community is involved and it quite amazing to see it! This is the place to be!
Hyrum has a great small town feel. The people here are very friendly and open minded. Hyrum is only ten minutes from Logan, which makes commuting to work very quick and easy. I don't have to deal with the smell or traffic of Logan, and I get to love in a small community. The hydro electric dam also subsidizes the electricity for the town, so that is nice as well. Nothing like some renewable energy!
