Hydro is a small close knit family that lookout for one another. We all have similar morals and values. We keep an eye on each other’s kids and teach them to be ladies and gentlemen. There aren’t many job opportunities in Hydro but there are several other surrounding towns to seek employment. I love our small town. I tried the big city life until I had children and I decided to move back to raise them in a smaller school.

Hydro is a small town where everyone knows their neighbor. It is also quiet and peaceful if you are tired of the busy city areas. The town has a Pre-K through Senior school and has diverse students that come from across the state. The school has a yearly ACT score above the state's average. However, because it is a small town, there are not very many businesses to provide jobs.
I've been living in Hydro since I can remember. We've never really had any big problems in our community. Everyone knows everyone. We're big family; nobody leaves anyone out.
