I love Hyden! It’s a small retreat from the busy city life and it’s perfect environment to raise a family. There are plenty of outdoors activity opportunities such as ATV riding, horse riding, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, etc. I would like to see more jobs offered in the area and maybe more commerce opportunities. But all in all, it’s a cute little town where people treat you like family.

It is a beautiful area. Everyone is friendly. It’s a very small town, but I like it that way. Hyden takes pride in their town. I love it around the holidays, it always feels so peaceful, I really feel at home
Like the small town atmosphere like having grown up Here as a kid
Most people know each other so it’s a given that yo will see many people that you know on a daily basis. There is little traffic here which I like a lot.
