The environment is great, and hopeful, I went to Hutto High School and had a pleasant time there while playing sports and having fun with friends!
For the entirety of the 3 and a half years I’ve lived here, Hutto has been a phenomenal place for my family and I to relocate and enjoy living out our lives. The neighborhood is very well established, everyone within the community are very proactive and great at lending a helping hand towards maintaining the social stability within the city!
Safe city, plenty of shops and entertainment. Schools and safety rating are in the top five of the nation
Very easy to navigate, mostly busy during the day. There is a train that runs constantly by my home though.
I like how I feel safe in hutto. The town is always looking for news way to grow which give me hope. I also enjoy the school because it has many different career path and in the path I am in which is medical the school provides a lot of different practicums that allow you to see what you would like to do and if you’ll like it. It also gives you a lot of options or ways to earn certifications before you even go to college which saves students a lot of money and time.
It is a quiet and very safe town. Very nice neighbors, as a community we all work together. Recently ranked the safest city in Texas by the FBI.
I wouldn't recommend noone of Color to move here. Very Racist town and Williamson county, Tx is racist. Law enforcement - Local and Sheriff. Conservative town horrible. Run far away from here.
I have lived in Hutto for almost 4 years now and it's great. Although I do wish there were more restaurants and generally more things to do, it's a great place this I got to live in. The people are great, lots of job opportunities, and good schools. It has been a great 4 years here and I am a bit saddened that I have to leave in August for college but I'm glad I got to experience the Hutto life!
Very small and safe. I have a younger sister who I was skeptical about her hanging out with her friends in Hutto Park, since I know a lot of the kids smoke weed. However, i trust her enough to pick good friends. Its very quiet and not much to do, which is kinda annoying that i have to drink 20 minutes to Round Rock or Pflugerville to do anything.
Hutto is an excellent community for those wanting to partake in all that the big city of Austin has to offer without having to deal many of the hassles that accompany city living. Hutto provides a safe environment for growing families and at an affordable cost. Hutto has some of the highest rated schools in the area and plenty of parks, bike trails, and other outdoor facilities to accommodate a healthy lifestyle.
Hutto is a great little town to stay. Although it's grown a lot from the time I moved here, it still has that small town vibe going around. I'm proud to say that I am a Hutto Hippo.
I love the community and how its growing but still has a little bit of a small town feeling. Also during football season Friday nights are where the whole city comes alive at the home football games. I would like to see some more businesses sprout up around Hutto.
Peaceful, calm location. You have the convenience of being near a big city and also living in a calm location such as Hutto. You can visit the big city of Austin and return home to Hutto all in one day.
I love that Hutto is interested in reviving the historical buildings into small businesses run by local residents.
Hutto is very friendly. Although it does have a population of about 25,000 it still has a small-town feel to it, and like most small towns it is based around the high-school football team.
It's not too overdeveloped to the point of crowding and a lot of conveniences are coming this way. The people are generally nice.
I like how Hutto has grown so much but has maintained it's small town feel. There is still only one high school and two middle schools, and they really bring the community together.
