I have lived in Hutto for 5+ years. I moved to Hutto due to its affordability (we are a six person household), school ranking were above average, the safe/diverse community, and the close proximity to other cities/jobs/entertainment. Over time, Hutto has only gotten better. We now have a Hutto HEB Plus, improvements to the local park/roads, and new homes/businesses going up on a regular basis!
Hutto is an excellent community for those wanting to partake in all that the big city of Austin has to offer without having to deal many of the hassles that accompany city living. Hutto provides a safe environment for growing families and at an affordable cost. Hutto has some of the highest rated schools in the area and plenty of parks, bike trails, and other outdoor facilities to accommodate a healthy lifestyle.
Hutto is a wonderful place. The teachers care about their students, and the community comes together quickly when tragedy strikes. Hutto has the only hippo mascot, which makes it even more cool!
