The people here are mostly nice, and there are a lot of restaurants and businesses, but other than that there's a lot to be desired. I can drive anywhere in DFW pretty quickly for the most part, except heading west on I-820, where there are consistent slowdowns even in the middle of the workday. There's a lot of pollution and highway noise. Getting around Hurst itself isn't easy here as there are plenty of rough roads for driving and long stretches of busy road without sidewalks for pedestrians. There's also not a lot of nature here- very few parks and very little landscaping amidst the sea of concrete.

Living in Hurst offers residents a dense suburban feel, and most own their homes. In Hurst, there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. In general, the city needs more walkable spaces to be more family-friendly, appealing to social gatherings, and encouraging of healthy lifestyles.
Hurst, Texas, is a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas, and is located within the borders of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. My experience with HEB has been phenomenal. Not only do they have great educational services, they also pay for qualified AP student tests. Additionally, I had an amazing experience being in the band program and the varsity soccer team at Bell High School. In terms of the community, Hurst has high-quality, accessible services and is overall a good community to live in.
