Hurst is a great place to live within the DFW Metroplex! Hurst is very diverse and feeds into the state recognized HEB ISD school district. Hurst is very family friendly and offers many fun family activities at the many parks and the Hurst Recreational Center. Anyone looking to find a good suburb in the DFW area should greatly consider one of the many beautiful Hurst neighborhoods!

Hurst is a great place for families. There are job opportunities and fun things for kids to do along with the amazing school district of HEB ISD. It can be expensive living here compared to places nearby like Arlington however it's worth the price as it's a very safe and great place to live. It's probably not the best place if you're looking for nightlife because there aren't many clubs or anything like that but I think the city is more meant for families or people trying to start one. It's close to lots of things like six flags, two very close malls, colleges like Tarrant county college and university of Texas at Arlington. It is also in close proximity to both Dallas and fort worth, major cities in north Texas. Overall, Hurst is a very nice place to live and I'd recommend it to anyone.
I have lived in HEB (Hurst, Euless, Bedford) in the duration of my 25 years. My parents were adamant about being in a great school district (HEB ISD) and obviously being in a safe community while being seconds or minutes away from local shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. You can go 20 minutes one direction and you are in down town Fort Worth or you can go 30 minutes the other direction and you are in Dallas!
