I've lived in Huntsville for 13 years, I've seen it grow for over a decade into a large, almost metropolis type area. This is a great place for engineering, computer science, and various other technical type jobs due to attractions and various companies. The economy and population is booming. It's a pretty diverse place and not like most other areas in the South.

There's such a wide variety of restaurants, stores, and places to be! Bridge Street, Providence, and anywhere along Highway 72 from Madison to Huntsville has a plethora of stuff to do and diverse places to eat. Sometimes it's choose just once place to go out.

Huntsville is a much safer place than many other cities I can list and is full of opportunity. Definitely family friendly and has a low cost of living.

I do wish there weren't such a dense population sometimes, it's a very busy area. Sometimes I'd like to see more metropolitan works come up, and see how much the community and city as a whole can grow further.

I enjoy Huntsville! The Parkway system seems to be really ingenious for the flow of the city. There are so many activities to do for all variations of interests. Whether it's walking in the park, hiking the mountain trails, learning at the space centers, visiting the art museum, experiencing the arts and entertainment at Lowe Mill, or enjoying the vibrant night life. The only negative thing I can say about Huntsville is how unfortunate it is that there aren't more large bodies of water available to the public for swimming and water activities.
Huntsville is a wonderful city- with NASA's Space and Rocket Center and Redstone Arsenal the city has become a melting pot of different people. The city is booming and has grown tremendously in recent years. There are great shopping areas- such as the beautiful Bridge Street- which offers an amazing movie theater with an upstairs bar! There is a wonderful art and music culture centered around the Lowe Mill- A place filled with true artisans! One of the most unique art galleries you will ever step foot into. Your greeted at the front entrance by taking an old school freight elevator! there are vintage shops, record shops, tea shops, and almost always a musical or theatrical performance going on! And how could we forget the beautiful mountains surrounding the city- a great place for hikes.
