Working in Huntingdon
The things that I like about Huntingdon is the close connection that everyone in Huntingdon has together and the way everyone helps each other. I also like the scenery of the town and how beautiful Huntingdon is. The things that I don’t like is the amount of activities that are possible in Huntingdon. You usually have to travel to a nearby town in order to go shopping or get something that you want. Another thing that I don’t like about Huntingdon is that one of the only things that is here to participate in is sports. The sports facilities that are in Huntingdon are average at best.
Huntingdon is a beautiful, small town in central Pennsylvania. About 45 minutes southwest of State College, PA, Huntingdon offers plenty of small, mom and pop shops, as well as many amazing cafes, diners, and delis. About 15 minutes outside of town is Raystown Lake, a nationally famous lake made by the Army Corp. of Engineers. Huntingdon is a great town for anyone looking for small town, close community experiences.
Huntingdon is a small town with a lot of farms and open space witch is great for when you want to get away from the craziness. I love the small town feel. You know pretty much everyone which can either be a good thing or a bad thing! All in all I love Huntingdon because of the people who are down to earth and caring for others.
