Working in Humble
I’ve lived in Humble since I was 5 years old. It’s pretty much all I’ve ever known when growing up in school. I love how there’s shopping strips almost everywhere you look for groceries, clothing, appliances, and other fun places to just hang out with your friends. Humble is constantly changing and that’s the beauty of it, because they are always accommodating the “new style” of the year and making room for new people to join the community. We all stay connected through our neighborhood app NextDoor, which has become very helpful in helping others find their missing pets, sell items to others, or even just warn the neighborhood and surround neighborhoods about something to be mindful of. I’ve met a lot of my best friends through the Humble schools and I am forever grateful that they are in my life. Humble is a wonderful place to live because this is where you feel like you fit in and where people will accept you for you.
Humble has basically raised me since my early pre-school ages. My overall experience here was alright for a city in Houston, but I'd still be open to moving/ living elsewhere. Humble area of Houston does have it's perks however: any and everything you need is right around the corner, most neighbors have amazing senses of music, and there's a Whataburger open twenty-four hours to anyone in need of a real late night snack.
