Hot Springs, Arkansas offers a variety of fun and beautiful options! If you enjoy the outdoors, check out one of three surrounding lakes for excellent fishing, swimming and boating. If you'd rather stay on dry land, Garven Gardens is an excellent place to visit while enjoying the botanical gardens or maybe you'd rather check out the bathhouse row which was established as early as 1892! There are plenty of amazing restaurants and quality spas in the area as well! So many things to say about Hot Springs but it should definitely be on your life of places to visit!

I enjoy living in Hot Springs. It is an incredibly interesting spot historically. The historic downtown area is awesome! The boathouses are very cool to tour. Additionally, Lake Hamilton is beautiful and the trails downtown are breathtaking. Lake Ouachita is near Hot Springs, it is also a great attraction. There are a lot of cool cultural aspects of Hot Springs such as Valley of the Vapors (a music festival downtown) and the Hot Springs Jazz Society. Despite all of these positives, I would like to see a lot of change in Hot Springs. The public schools are lacking in the arts, volunteering, academics, and agricultural programs. The public schools do little to take advantage of the wonderful resources that Hot Springs has to offer. There are no significant programs to promote volunteerism in the historic downtown and in the National Park. The schools do not show a lot of participation with the community.
Invest more in local parks and community projects for their own. Downtown is a great location for family fun, shopping, visiting a National Park, and exploring other activities. However, the town could put more emphasis in the downtown area to remodel and restore their buildings. There is so much culture is this quaint, local town, that if they created this change and welcomed suggestions, they would be right up there with famous downtown areas like Beale street or even Bourbon Street. They should bring their history and culture to life! Not only this, Hot Springs is known for the Arts of Art. Bring more to the area! Invite local and National artists to demo! Have more museums on Hot Springs History! And, the night life is so cool that you can walk the streets and everything is lit up from the city life to the park life. If they had more concerts in the park or music artists visit the city it would create a lot of jobs and a lot of revenue.
