I love hope. It's small and very easy to get around. I currently 19 and just trying to find somewhere to live and being here will be fine with me. My family is here and its good that i get too see them. I just wish there was more to do here in town. We have plenty of fast food burger places and mexican places to eat i think we need more recreational things. At least Hope is close to Texarkana!

I grew up in Hope for 21 years of my life, I am currently 22. Hope is a small, quiet place to stay with a population of around 10,000 residents. Personally, I've had an overall good experience with Hope, but I had a few unfavorable experiences that involved other people; although, I am sure that occurs with in every town. Something I would like to see a change in is the quality of medical care that is present in the town. Since Hope is a smaller town with a lack of "booming" businesses, it is less likely to attract the attention of most certified and higher level professionals in all areas than larger cities. To receive better quality healthcare, many people travel to Texarkana, Tx, which is about 37 miles from Hope and is on the border of Texas and Arkansas.
It is a friendly atmosphere no matter where you go. There is a lot of community involvement, and many family friendly activities. Hope is an overall good place to live.
