Hoover has been a wonderful place to live, as I have lived here for over 2 years now! I came to Hoover after living on 280, where my apartment was involved in a fire, and so I was in search of a new apartment. My spouse and I was very pleased to find Ridge Crossings Apartments, and it was even better that they were in our price range. We have enjoyed being closer to our college campus, Sam's, and many more place we enjoy eating at. And the traffic is much better than 280!

My husband, our three sons, mI migrated from Birmingham to Hoover in 2008. It was a cultural shock for our boys as we moved from an all black neighborhood to a majority White neighborhood. We decided to move our family to Hoover because we wanted to expose our children to a better environment and better schools.
What did you like about Hoover?
Hoover has invested a lot of funding into their school system and it shows through their teachers. My son have had great teachers from elementary through high school. Their teachers have always taken a professional approach to ensuring that all the children that goes through the Hoover schools receives and/or received a top-notch education.
What would you like to see change?
My neighborhood only has access to AT&T cable. I would love to have another option. I would also like for the Galleria Mall to bring in some ethnic group stores. Hoover can also benefit by having more soul food restaurants to town.
