Hoover has been a very nice place to live. I am a high school student and a part time worker. For the past three years I have been attending Spain Park High School which is one of the best schools in the state. I have found living here very comfortable and safe and I would definitely recommend it to others. I am originally from Huntsville, Alabama and I believe that Hoover is a better place to live. Other than the poor traffic Hoover has a lot of great things to offer. These things include: lots of places to eat and hangout, great schools, and even a safe environment for families to live in. I have been very pleased with Hoover in the 4 years that I have been here.

Hoover is a city of many things. Specifically diversity. No matter where you go you will see all types of diversity. Age, gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, religion, and style. Always something different everywhere you walk. In high school the group that I hung around was me (hispanic), my friend daniel (Mexican), another yusef(Lebanese), and luke(white).
Great city.

Solid schools. About a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Birmingham for nightlife. New subdivision with a sizable lake and several other housing options very close to schools and places to eat. Several stores and restaurants that promote healthy living. Not a long travel to Birmingham or to any other popular venues. Recent shooting at public mall, but other than that there is not much violence or crime. Great place to raise a family. Small sales tax, but there are many affordable places for shopping and eating. Quite diverse city. Several places for jobs.
