Honeoye Falls can be described as the perfect small town from a movie. For the most part, everyone knows and loves each other. The community is extremely supportive and helpful. Whenever there is a significant event, such as a big game, concert, musical, you name it- if everyone from the community isn't there, they're following it online/newspaper or they are donating time or money to show their support. There are rarely any problems in this town, and I have rarely met someone unfriendly that lives there. It is a relatively wealthy area, and although people are definitely not snobby, some are sheltered or seem privileged. The town itself is small and would seem quiet, but if there is not a fun event taking place (usually once a week) there is always something exciting to do if you are willing to look for it. There is also not much diversity in the area. However, you will not find a more loyal, safe, friendly, beautiful town than Honeoye Falls.

Love it here !!! Moved here from a small town and Honeoye Falls was the perfect fit for me! It is close to Rochester (30 minutes) and close to the farm land that i grew up loving. You can still hunt deer here, drive to Tractor supply and the local grocery store that sells lots of local organic foods grown right here in upstate NY
I recently have moved to the village and have had a great experience in being welcomed to the community. Many of the neighbors have been in their homes for 25+ years and are happy to see others coming into the community. I moved into the community because of the school system for my kids. The community has enough of the amenities: grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, beer distillery and spirits distillery. It could use a few boutique stores, but they don't seem to survive.
