I grew up in the small town of Homosassa Springs. Everyday felt like a miniature vacation because of the beautiful weather and the constant smell of the ocean through the wind. Between seeing the manatees and getting to dive into the crystal clear springs; I wouldn't change a thing about it. My childhood was blessed with being able to be outside in the fresh air playing with the neighbor kids. I would recommend anyone to experience the joy I was lucky enough to call home.
It’s a very small town and needs a lot of work. But construction is underway so hopefully something comes out of it.
