I wish for Homestead to change how much the rent is because the prices keep rising. It isn’t supposed to be rising because my mother, sister, and I live in a low income community. The other community that we lived in (in Homestead) had gunshots happen at night. I also want to see more fun attractions for people my age, such as cool bookstores like Barnes and Nobles or arcade places! Homestead is considered a family oriented place, as I don’t see much provocative sights here at all. There’s a Publix here with a Sedanos, so I’m pretty happy about that. Sadly, it is hard to find a job here in Homestead, so I’ve had to attain one online. When I attended schools here in Homestead, I got a decent education but the majority of the kids were mean. Overall, Homestead is an okay place to live in, but I wouldn’t want to live here forever.

Homestead is perfectly situated between the Metropolis of Miami, Everglades National Park and the beautiful Florida Keys. As a booming suburb, it has many nearby amenities and is a 30-40 minute drive to the Miami nightlife and housing is slightly more affordable although higher than the national average. The downside to living in Homestead is the traffic! Expect a minimum of an hour commute in the morning if you work anywhere 15 miles north of the Homestead area.
After living in Homestead for over 16 years I fell in love with the everglades and the convenience of having the beach near me. In my opinion, Homestead's convenience cant be beat. Homestead is in the center of both The Florida Keys and Downtown Miami making it great for a weekend at the beach or a night out. With the rise in popularity as of late, Homestead has been recieving more attractions like restoraunts and the Homestead Station witch includes a mall, bowling alley and movie theater. The schools there are not the best there is to offer but a notable acception is the South Dade wrestling team who just recently won the state championship before COVID-19 hit. Homestead is a great place to live but I would like to see more attractions like, arcades, trampoline parks, and skating rinks because people here have drive on average about 20-30 minutes to have fun at a family friendly place like this.
