Hollywood Fl. offers a variety of restaurants and different foods to cater to everyone's taste. A small but very friendly and beautiful downtown area. Safe during the day time and night time. Nightlife is always buzzing and again a diversity of music, drinks, and dance venues are offered. I'm also giving a 4 star rating for schools, most offer sports activities, teachers can always be reached for concerns/questions parents might have. Counseling, (in many cases free of charge) is also available. Can't say enough about the gorgeous, people and pet friendly beaches, which offer an immense variety of accommodations ranging from different prices, as well as restaurants. Public transportation also available form downtown to malls and beaches. Not difficult to find public parking at the beach and moderately priced. I hold Hollywood FL. as a friendly, safe, always in action town, where a family as well as single person can live comfortably!

Hollywood is a beautiful city comprised of astounding, family friendly beaches, and a close knit community. Hollywood's central location between Fort Lauderdale and Miami's ports makes it easily accessible for tourist coming via cruise as well as, flight considering that both Miami and Fort Lauderdale's airports are within close proximity as well. Hollywood has an array of excellent restaurant selections and fun activities within the anchor of the community known as Young Circle in the Downtown area. I would recommend this versatile city to anyone seeking a tasteful, relaxing time in South Florida.
I have lived in Hollywood, FL all my life, and have seen it go through many changes over the years. In fact, there are improvements being made to 441 right now. I enjoy how the city of Hollywood decorates the light posts during holidays to keep the peoples spirits up. The city of Hollywood is very diverse, and very convenient in regards to finding supermarkets, gas stations, Walmarts, Hospital, etc. However in the city of Hollywood, you will find that West of i95 closer to State Road 7, it is more family friendly, but more costly. I have children running all around my neighborhood after-school, and I am always finding sports balls in my yard, but I love it! I also find myself looking for more activity's around the city, so it would be great if Hollywood can improve on that.
