Hollidaysburg is a very safe small town, as compared to the nearby larger cities/towns. My time here has been really nice. While there isn't much to do here, it is a welcoming community and is worth the time I have spent here. The historical background of this town is always interesting (the railroad, etc.). The library is a wonderful spot, right near the high school with a great staff. Overall, this town has been a wonderful place to live.

It can be a bit expensive to live in Hollidaysburg compared to local surrounding areas, but it is totally worth it! Hollidaysburg is a hidden historical landmark (with some still-standing houses being built during the Civil War), and always has entertaining things to do for the whole family. The local schools are amazing as well in terms of opportunities and academic growth.
It is a nice, small town,an active community and sprinkled with start-up businesses. The high school has very well developed arts, music, drama, and sport programs.
