While the land and the Delaware River is beautiful, Hurricane Sandy exposed how vulnerable our infrastructure was. We were very fortunate to have the wind blowing the way it did as trees missed our home by inches, slamming into picnic benches and playground structures instead. The neighbors are wonderful and the proximity to NYC ideal. I just wish there were more organic choices and closer markets.
Never felt unsafe growing up there. There were the occasional graffiti and littering from teenagers, but that is expected anywhere.
I really enjoyed growing up here and hope to find a similar place to live in the future and raise my own family. It is a really safe and friendly place with beautiful farmland, parks, and neighborhoods.
