hindman is a good little town. the people are really nice and try to help others. The little town of Hindman KY is a good place to live but, if you get into any trouble the laws around this area does pretty much what they want to. People call the Knott county court house of Hindman KY the "mafia court house". They have its nickname as the "mafia court house" because the laws and officials do what they want to people around this area. They make their own laws, you might say.

I've lived approximately 7-8 minutes from downtown Hindman, KY my whole life. It's small, but the people are friendly. Mostly made up of gas stations and one small shopping center.
