Hillside Township Reviews

As a 27-year-old resident of Hillside Township in New Jersey, I have had a positive experience living here. I appreciate the sense of community and diversity that the area offers. The parks and recreational spaces provide ample opportunities for outdoor activities, and the community events throughout the year offer a chance to meet fellow residents. However, I would like to see more investment in public transportation to make commuting to nearby cities easier. Additionally, supporting local businesses and promoting economic growth in the area would benefit the community. Overall, I believe Hillside Township is a great place to call home.
The neighborhood is very quiet and calm. Minimal traffic goes through which means safety for families walking. There are plenty of small stores nearby along with some commercial chains, such as dominos pizza, for eating.
It is an okay area, right near Newark Airport. Hillside police responds pretty fast if there is ever anything wrong. There is not many food places, unless you go on US 22. However; there is always traffic on 22. Hillside is right next to 78, easy access to the malls, Jersey Gardens, or Short Hills. There are a few parks in the area so you are able to work out and walk your dog, but I advise to do so during the day.
