Quite and shady. Police will stop you if 5 miles over limit. Snooty neighbors. School taxes go up every year for ridiculous reasons. Example, claim they needed 1.2 million to reseed soccer field. It really went into some ones pocket. Smell corruption a mile away. Glad we moved out. Our taxes just went up here in N.C. $200.00 after living here 12 years !

Hillsdale is a great young family town ; having great schools, sports programs, restaurants ,food stores, churches, banks, and community activities. It is a safe town with a solid, respected police department ,volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance services. Hillsdale supports /rallies around its residents in times of financial and health hardship. Pascack Valley High School is a highly rated school in N.J. as it provides a well rounded , early advantage for the student's college
application process.
I love Hillsdale, New Jersey. The community itself is very friendly and resourceful. There are tons of places to go grab a bite to eat or hang out with friends. Hillsdale is a wonderful town and I am so glad I was able to grow up in a town like this one.
