Jobs moving into the area. Schools are great! Downtown Hilsborough has a great historic district. The area is is very trendy and hipster. There are walking trails, coffee shops, whole foods store, restaurants, beautiful won river and more! Nice mix of old and new. The price of housing continues to rise in the area. I would recommend this area to families.

Hillsborough is a great place to live! The schools are very great with caring staff. The town has great food options. The only reason I didn’t give it a five is that Hillsborough does like change, they want to stick to the old historic town.
I would like to see more things to do around town such as improving the night life and having more attractions. I love the small town country feel to it, but when you want to have something to do, you have to leave and go to Durham or Raleigh to have fun. Also there are some restaurants around town, but you also have to leave town to have lots of options on what to eat.
