I have lived in Hillsboro Community for 40 years. There is a major drug problem here, just like every where else in the United States. We do have small minded ignorant people that truly have no intention of ever changing! The one thing we have plenty of is Individuals who care about our neighbors! When passing a stranger in a car or walking a wave of a hand in greeting. People who would help a friend or stranger alike. We don't have much choices in restaurants mainly pizza, hamburger Chinese and Mexican. We definitely need more choices. We are slow paced little town . We can sit on our porches and not worry about drive by shootings, our kids can play in the yard visit their friends down the street and come home safe. We help one another and watch out for each other! If you need the hassle and bustle of city life this is not the place for you. If you love nature come on over and join us. We have all kinds of wild life. Rolling hills, lakes, streams and a quiet relaxing life!
Hillsboro is a pretty small town, with a population of about 6,580 people. It's where I have grown up, and I've grown to love it. People say there isn't much to it, but when you don't take for granted the simple/small things, it's a place where you'll always feel at home. I've met great friends who I know will last a lifetime, thankfully! Hillsboro has kind people, and I couldn't ask for much more.
Hillsboro is a small city (it has a population of about 6500 people) and it doesn't have a lot. What it does have, though, is churches. There's at least 20 churches in the Hillsboro area, most of which worship different denominations of Christianity. There's also a lot of pizza places, including two separate locations for Pizza Hut (one delivers, one doesn't). Overall, it's a pretty average city.
