Hilliard is a larger suburb on the Northwest part of Columbus. It has many businesses and neighborhoods to fit all lifestyles. The schools are top-notch and more technologically advanced than several bordering districts. Hilliard is a safe community with several parks and pathways to walk, run, or ride your bike. There is a rails to trails path that extends from downtown Hilliard to Plain City which many people use to train for local races. Along the trail Homestead Park and Heritage Trail Dog Park are found. Hilliard is a great suburb all around!

Hilliard is an up and coming area where there are a lot of places to shop and many restaurants have been built in the past several years. There are many houses and apartments that are being built all around the city. I attended Hilliard City Schools for K-12 and now work at one of the elementary schools for the School Aged Child Care (SACC) Program that is before and after school child care. The teachers care about their students’ success and failures in their lives. Hilliard has several parks, a community center, municipal pools, gyms, and many more activities. The library in Hilliard is a very well kept and has many options for reading, movies, music, and activities that can keep a person of any age entertained. During the summer, the Franklin County Fair is held at the fairgrounds which draws a lot of people and business to the area. The police and fire personnel are nice and helpful with whatever a person might need. Overall, Hilliard, Ohio is a wonderful place to raise a family.
I love this area in Hilliard! I just graduated the oldest high school in Hilliard. The community is unlike any other and being a senior varsity starter for the football team, I was treated like a god. Younger kids looked up to me and even crowds would know my name by the stardom taking place on the Feild. My team went to the third round of playoffs and lost against the state runner-ups in D1 football. This place has treated me with the best it has to offer and if I could choose anywhere on earth to live I would pick this place to do it all over again. Its full of wonder and humble people.
