Hill Country Village is actually its own city within San Antonio, TX. Due to San Antonio's expansion north, the city of Hill Country Village and the town of Hollywood Park have become known as neighborhoods. Living in Hill Country Village is like living in the country, but in the middle of San Antonio. The lots are anywhere from 2-40+ acres. Many residents own livestock and it isn't uncommon to see people riding horses on the side of the road. Hill Country Village is a part of the NEISD school system that repeatedly receives accolades and has test scores above the district average. Even though it feels like you're miles from the city, US Highway 281 is no more than 5 minutes away from anywhere in Hill Country Village. Overall, life in Hill Country Village is pretty quiet, but with easy access to the big city.

This area is growing rapidly. New restaurants and business' are popping up everyday. There is still a friendly atmosphere but there are many more things to do around the city than in the last couple of years.
