Hightstown is located in a convenient location. It is located within 20-30 minutes of various nearby towns such as Princeton, New Brunswick, and Hamilton. The town is due for renovations, for its schools, downtown attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. Living in this town for over 15 years, there is not much that has changed. With the increase of diabetes, COPD, etc in this country, there is little effort made to decrease the number of fast food restaurants. This town consists of at least 4 dunkin donuts on the same road within 2-5 miles of each others, 4+ pizza shops, 3+ chinese restaurants, and various fast food restaurants all conveniently located in off the main road.

As a resident of Hightstown, I feel that it is a very safe and family friendly environment for everyone. It is a beautiful town and I never hear anyone speak about kidnappings, robbery, or anything of that sort. It is especially beautiful at night during Christmas. The town is decorated with lights on their lamp posts and everything seems to glow bright. It is a small to medium sized town with people of all colors of skin, getting to one side of a town to another in about 10 minutes by drive. And everyone is healthy and helped by the police and fire department whenever they are needed. Everyone is friendly and there seems to be no hardship anywhere you go.
A very diverse place. I have lived here all of my life and everyone in the town in great. There are many options to live from big houses in some developments, to smaller homes, to townhouses and apartments. Everyone has a place in Hightstown a small town where everyone knows everyone
