My family and I moved to Highland Village at the beginning of 2019 and could not be happier with our decision. Highland Village is surrounded by some bigger cities, but still feels small and has a close sense of community. The neighborhoods are very safe and the police officers make us always feel safe, as they can always been seen patrolling and interacting with community members. The schools in Highland Village are part of Lewisville ISD and are some of the best in the district. We have kids in all level of schooling and they all love their individual campuses.

Highland Village, Texas is the little sister to the neighboring town Flower Mound. The town offers decent shopping and restaurants, great public schools, and a safe community. This area is not quite fit for adults seeking nightlife or adventures, seeing as most establishments close between 7-9 pm daily. The town itself is well kept, and brushes up against Lewisville Lake.
To change Highland Village could be classified as a sin, for it is perfect just the way it is. The neighbors are quiet and friendly, you could always expect a happy wave and kind smile from them if you found them outside mowing their lawns or playing with their children. There are parks surrounding the houses and a beautiful lake for fishing and boating, it's almost like a summer vacation every time you visit. Highland Village is an excellent place to raise children or at the very least settle down for retirement. It is suitable for anyone and everyone if they so desire to live in Highland Village.
