Great town to raise a family, small town living, local shops, trusting and helpful neighbors. Walmart is not a superstore; but there is a Moose's Market and Piggly Wiggly for groceries. Montessori School or Lutheran School options as well as public schools; all are great options.

Higginsville is a family friendly community. You know you can feel save and not have to worry about your children being outside playing. Everyone looks out for one another. Higginsville's school district is amazing, they truly care about the success of our children.
I love how quiet and peaceful this place is. However, I wish there was more to do. The movie theater shut down and now its so boring, but this is home.
