Hideaway is an amazing place to live. Not only does it share an outstanding school district with Lindale but it has a beach, poo, and multiple parks for your kids to grow up in. It is annoying having to call in people to the gate and the 25 miles and hour speed limit but other than that it is wonderful. My family moved into hideaway for the security and multiple opportunities it has to be engaged in the community such as the beach and clubhouse. Hideaway is filled with old residents but the new and young ones keep it live and well. It is gorgeous with its lush green gold course and three lakes to fish in. Perfect for everyone!!
Beautiful place -so peaceful with so much to do with 27 holes of golf, 3 lakes to boat, ski & fish. Also includes parks & tennis courts, clubhouse, community pool and sandy beach on the lake. You can get a great home for the money! The people here are so kind! It's only about 80 miles from East Dallas and a 20-30 minute drive to Tyler. Several small towns close by for more entertainment and restaurant choices-Lindale, canton, Mineola, Tyler just to name a few. Work in Dallas and have a get away Lakehouse in Hideaway! Love it here!!!
Gated community with good course, pool, parks and other amenities. A mix of retired residents and families though it seems there are more retirees. Commute time to Tyler where most residents work is 20-45 minutes depending on location. It is in Lindale ISD which is a great school district.
I'm only living here with family while attending college. So this is just a temporary home, but I've sincerely enjoyed living here these past 7 months.
